An additional gate has been opened at the Guindy Metro station for the convenience of passengers.
A press release issued on behalf of the Chennai Metro Railway Company in this regard:
Chennai Guindy Metro Station continues to see an increase in the number of passengers and to meet their demand, an additional entrance gate has been opened near the parking lot of the railway station with facilities including elevator and moving stairs.
The entrance gate was inaugurated by the Director (Systems and Operations) of Chennai Metro Rail Corporation, Rajesh Chaturvedi in the presence of the officials and employees of the Corporation.
As this gate is now operational, passengers can travel by train without any difficulty, it said.
